Rev John Beerman has been hired as our new minister officially beginning 8/1/2024!

 

 

 

John Beerman graduated from Unity’s School of Divinity in June 2015, the year before the school transitioned to online studies. John first discovered Unity in Pasadena, Texas, where he felt a strong spiritual experience at a Christmas candle lighting service. At that moment, he recalled his childhood when the idea of all God’s children living in peace was very real to him. “So, this is what Unity is about “, he thought.

Teacher, writer, inspirational speaker, and loving husband and father, John tries to convey Unity Truth Principles by sharing from his heart, being as transparent as possible.

Before going into full-time ministry, John marketed and serviced employee benefit plans for the American Council of Engineers. He served as member of the National Health Insurance Association and was involved when the Patient protection and Affordable Care Act was passed into law. He also served organizations like the YMCA as a volunteer-fund raiser.

His passion in ministry is transformation through centering prayer, meditation and community service. John is married to Charlotte Garrett, LUT. Charlotte is a retired civil servant, who was the Chief of Resources at US Air Force Space Command in Colorado Springs. John and Charlotte have four children and nine grandchildren and enjoy hiking, cross-fit, pickleball and spending time with family and God.
