Dear Friends,
I have been seeing the writings of former evangelical pastor Jim Palmer popping up lately on social media---enough for me to pay attention to their frequency and read them! He writes for those “in recovery” from traditional religion, in much the same way Bishop John Shelby Spong has written over the years to demystify and reframe religious thinking. In light of the upcoming Chaplain training later this week, I found this article a simple and profound way to look at praying for others. Unity was founded on the principles of prayer, so I encourage you to take a look at what we teach through another set of eyes. I think you’ll appreciate its expansion of your prayer process.

Blessings and peace to you,
Rev Jill
